Pakistan is currently battling a severe flooding crisis brought on by torrential rainfall, leading to widespread devastation. The Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara is submerged under floodwaters, with the water level significantly high. Numerous individuals, mostly employees, are stranded within the gurudwara premises. Rescue operations are in progress, with boats and a helicopter being utilized to evacuate those affected. The collapse of a protective embankment near the Kartarpur Corridor has amplified the impact of the floods. The Kartarpur Corridor, a significant religious site, was opened in 2019 and is situated near the Pakistan-India border.
