A raid was carried out by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the home of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, connected to a hospital construction scam. The ED’s action is related to the alleged ₹5,590 crore hospital construction scandal. The investigation centers on irregularities in hospital construction projects approved by the Delhi government in 2018-19. These projects aimed to build 24 hospitals.
The initial plan was to finish construction within six months. However, the projects remained unfinished after three years. Many projects face allegations of major irregularities.
