Renault India has launched the 2025 version of the Kiger, a popular SUV, focusing on improved safety and features. The new model features six airbags and a comprehensive suite of 21 safety enhancements. With a starting price of ₹6.29 lakhs, the Kiger offers a blend of style, interior refinement, and performance, making it a compelling choice for families.
The 2025 Kiger introduces new variants with updated prices. The Authentic (base) variant is priced at ₹6.29 lakhs, the Evolution at ₹7.09 lakhs, the Techno at ₹8.90 lakhs, and the Emotion at approximately ₹9.14 lakhs. These prices are for models with the non-turbo petrol engine.
For turbo-petrol models, the Techno (with a CVT gearbox) is priced at ₹9.99 lakhs. The Emotion (Turbo Petrol) is available from ₹9.99 lakhs to ₹11.29 lakhs. These prices are promotional offers for the festive season.
Changes to the design give the Kiger a refreshed look. These include a revised front bumper with LED headlights and LED fog lamps. The DRLs have been retained. The model now features new 16-inch alloy wheels, minor updates at the rear, and an Oasis Yellow color option.
The interior has been updated with a new dashboard design and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Safety is a key focus, with six airbags and 21 active and passive safety features like hill hold assist and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Kiger 2025 is offered with the same engine choices as the previous model: a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
