Ram Gopal Varma is venturing into the horror-comedy genre with his new film, “Police Station Me Bhoot,” which reunites him with Manoj Bajpayee. The film, which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, is currently in production in Hyderabad, with the first look slated for release on August 25th.
The director of the film has described the project as a horror comedy with thriller elements. The narrative centers on a police officer who kills a gangster, only to have the gangster’s ghost return to the police station. Varma mentioned on social media in April that he has worked in various genres, including horror, gangster, romantic, political drama, adventure thrillers, but this is his first horror comedy.
