Maruti Suzuki is planning an update for its popular Ertiga MPV. The facelifted Ertiga will feature increased dimensions, with the overall length growing from 4.39 meters to 4.43 meters. The wheelbase will stay at 2.74 meters, and there will be an increase in boot space. The Ertiga Tour M variant already offers larger dimensions, and it’s possible the manufacturer will further enhance its size.
**Ertiga: Features and Pricing:**
The 2025 Maruti Ertiga will come equipped with TPMS as a standard safety feature, and the AC vents in the second row of seats are also set to be modified. The MPV line has recently been updated with six airbags, leading to a small price increase. The current Ertiga model is available in nine variants, with prices ranging from ₹9.11 lakh to ₹13.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
**Engine Details:**
The updated Maruti Ertiga is expected to continue using the 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine, which produces 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque. The CNG variant will offer 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard, and certain petrol versions will be available with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
**Upcoming SUV Launch:**
Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to launch a new Arena-exclusive mid-size SUV to compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, this new SUV is planned for release on September 3, 2025. The official name and specific details are not yet disclosed; however, the new Maruti SUV might be named ‘Escudo’ or ‘Victorris’.
