Citroen has announced the start of pre-booking for its Basalt X range in the Indian market. Customers can secure their car with a booking amount of 11,000 rupees at Citroen dealerships or on the official website. The Basalt X launch is part of Citroen’s “New 2.0 in change” strategy. The C3X, already available, builds upon the standard C3 model with new additions. The Citroën C3X features proxy-sense passive entry and a push start system, offering hands-free access in its segment. This SUV also offers cruise control with a speed limiter, and the brand’s new HALO 360-degree camera system with seven viewing angles. The interior boasts a leather-finished instrument panel and a 10.25-inch Citroen Connect touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The C3X also offers rear USB Type-C charging ports, six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a high-speed alert. The Citroen Basalt X might be powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. It produces up to 108 bhp and 205 Nm of torque. It has a boot space of 470 liters and a ground clearance of 180 mm.
