Airtel has adjusted its prepaid offerings, impacting the Rs 195 plan. Following the discontinuation of the Rs 249 plan, Airtel has decreased the data allowance in its Rs 195 plan. The plan, which was providing 15GB of high-speed data, now provides 12GB of data. Additionally, the Jio Hotstar OTT benefit has been reduced from 90 days to 30 days. Airtel aims to increase its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). Airtel’s ARPU was Rs 250 at the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, and the company’s next goal is to achieve Rs 300 ARPU. The Rs 249 prepaid plan, which provided 1GB of daily high-speed data along with other benefits for 24 days, has been discontinued.
