A student was found deceased in a bathroom at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in Idupulapaya, Andhra Pradesh, on Thursday. The student, identified as Narsimha Naidu, was enrolled in the second year of the Pre-University Course (PUC) at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Ongole. Naidu resided in Fareedpet, Srikakulam district. Following the discovery, police sent the body for a postmortem examination at a government hospital in Vempalle and initiated an investigation. Preliminary assessments suggest mobile phone addiction and the recent passing of his father may have contributed to the circumstances. In an unrelated incident, Hyderabad police are investigating the deaths of five family members found in their home in the Makhtha, Mahaboobpet Maqta area. The deceased include a man, his wife, their daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. A case has been filed, and the investigation is underway.
