Pakistan has announced the temporary closure of several important air routes, leading to speculation about a potential large-scale missile test or air-defense military exercise. This move follows India’s recent successful testing of the Agni-5 ICBM.
The airspace restrictions include areas near Islamabad and the Line of Control (LoC), as well as routes in the southern regions from Lahore to Gwadar. These actions are perceived by some as Pakistan’s reaction to India’s advancements in its indigenous missile program.
