The Google Pixel Watch 4 was launched at the Made by Google Event, featuring new advancements in smartwatch technology. This watch, available in two sizes, introduces Gemini’s quick access, over 40 exercise modes, and the pulse loss detection feature. A key highlight of the Pixel Watch 4 is its extended battery life on a single charge. In India, the smartwatch’s 41mm (Wi-Fi) version is available at a price of ₹39,900, while the 45mm size variant starts from ₹43,900. Information regarding its release date has not been officially released yet. Similar to the previous models, this version has a curved display, but with improvements in the bezel and peak brightness, as claimed by the company. It is equipped with an Actua 360 always-on display that supports peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. The hardware of the smartwatch has undergone a major upgrade, with the integration of the new Snapdragon W5 Generation 2 processor. Google states that the Pixel Watch 4 will have smart reply support and Gemini voice assistant functionality. The user interface of this watch is designed on Material 3 Expressive UI. With over 40 exercise modes, this smartwatch gives users the capability to create custom plans for running and provides real-time guidance. Furthermore, it also includes a pulse loss detection feature that monitors the user’s pulse and alerts emergency contacts in the event of an anomaly. The Pixel Watch 4 is also equipped with features such as SpO2, ECG, and breathing rate detection. The watch has dual-frequency GPS and provides Wi-Fi and LTE support. The 41mm variant offers up to 30 hours of battery life, and the 45mm variant can run up to 45 hours on a full charge. It features fast charging. Google has included a new fast-charging dock with the smartwatch. The charging pin is placed on the side, which provides 25 percent faster charging. The company claims that it can charge from 0 to 50 percent within 15 minutes.
