A girlfriend asked her boyfriend for a ride home, burdened with groceries, setting in motion a sequence of events that culminated in a brutal crime. The boyfriend, with a sinister plan, agreed. He picked her up and rode towards a forest. When she inquired about their destination, he instructed her to dismount.
She followed his instruction. Two of his friends then appeared. The three men forced her into the depths of the forest. There, they gang-raped her. The woman’s desperate screams were ignored. She threatened to report them to the police and have them incarcerated. In response, they subjected her to a severe beating before strangling her to death with a scarf.
Her body was placed in a sack, securely tied, and disposed of in a water-filled drain. This horrific event unfolded in Korba, Chhattisgarh. When she didn’t return home, her family, deeply concerned, filed a missing person report with the local police three days later. The police launched a thorough investigation.
