Actress Rini Ann George has accused a young leader within a political party in Kerala of sending her offensive and inappropriate messages. Despite reporting the incidents to the party leadership, she claims no action was taken. Rini has chosen not to reveal the identity of the politician.
Speaking to the press, Rini described the nature of the messages. She alleged that the politician invited her to a location for his personal gain. When she responded negatively, he allegedly displayed a careless attitude. She added that this individual often appears in media discussions and at public events. Elaborating on the messages, Rini recalled a message where the politician suggested booking a room in a luxury hotel. She reacted strongly at the time. While the messages stopped for a while, they later started again. She shared that she decided to speak out because she realized other women face similar issues. She explained her decision not to file a complaint was because she feared it would put her in danger. Her final statement was a call for women to exercise careful consideration when choosing their elected officials.
