The Chhattisgarh government has initiated postings of eligible young professionals in different government departments through the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. A formal order from the Ministry outlines these placements. The order confirms that 36 young individuals have been assigned to various departments across the state. The Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship scheme was launched to improve good governance within the state.
The scheme includes a two-year curriculum, divided into eight stages. The first stage involved a one-month academic session on public policy, led by IIM Raipur, for the selected participants. The second stage of the scheme began on August 18, 2025, with fellows being posted to different departments. This phase allows them to get hands-on experience in government functions and to contribute to the implementation of development policies. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence oversees this scheme.
