A teacher in Chhattisgarh has been dismissed from his position after an investigation exposed the use of a forged marksheet to secure employment. The case involves Janakram Chauhan, an assistant teacher at a primary school in Belha, Nawagarh. The investigation revealed that Chauhan used a marksheet belonging to another student, Dhanrup Singh, to gain the job. It was also found that Chauhan was not even a student in the high school examination in 2003, the year the marksheet was from. The District Education Officer confirmed that the actions violated the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Conduct Rules, leading to the immediate termination of his employment.
