A disturbing case of attempted murder has occurred in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, involving a 13-year-old boy. The boy was attacked and stabbed ten times by his own uncle. The uncle, believing he had killed the boy, fled the scene. Police were called, and the seriously injured boy was taken to a hospital for immediate medical attention. The boy’s clever act of pretending to be dead saved his life. The young victim has implicated his uncle in the assault.
The incident took place near the Batahi bridge in the Masturi police station area of Bilaspur district. Suryansh Bargah, a 13-year-old from Limtara village, was outside his home on Sunday afternoon. His uncle arrived and persuaded him to go for a ride on his motorcycle, offering him treats. When they reached Batahi bridge, the uncle stopped the bike and began attacking his nephew with a knife.
