A fatal collision between a car and an SUV on the Lakhtar-Surendranagar highway led to the deaths of eight people. After the crash, the car was engulfed in flames. Authorities are working to identify the deceased and are conducting post-mortem examinations. The DSP of Surendranagar provided details of the accident, including the damage to the SUV. The incident is one of the recent road tragedies. Earlier, in another accident, three people died and seven others were critically injured when a bus crashed into a broken-down truck near Yellapur.
