Apple CEO Tim Cook stated after the announcement of financial results on July 31 that most iPhones sold in the US in June 2025 were imported from India. Cook revealed during the discussion of second-quarter results that all iPhones sold in the US in the June quarter will be shipped from India.
In the second quarter, Apple’s supply in India increased by 19.7% year-on-year, giving it a 7.5% share of the country’s smartphone market. According to IDC, in the June quarter, the Chinese company Vivo led the Indian smartphone market with a 19% market share.
