The Jharkhand Assembly convened to offer condolences and pay respects to the late Ramdas Soren, the Education Minister. The minister passed away on Friday night in Delhi, and his body was transported to Ranchi on Saturday morning. From the airport, the mortal remains were brought to the Assembly, where members of the assembly offered their tributes.
Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato shared his deep sadness at the loss of Ramdas Soren, stating that his sudden passing was a shock. He prayed for the departed soul’s peace and expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, hoping they would find strength in this moment of grief.
Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi conveyed his sorrow at the death of Education Minister Ramdas Soren, calling it an irreplaceable loss for the state’s politics and society. He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and offered his support to the family in their time of sorrow.
Among those who paid their respects were Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, State Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, former minister Mithilesh Thakur, Lok Sabha MP Joba Manjhi, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Manjhi, Congress state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, former minister Badal Patralekh, Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari, and other officials.
