Ramgarh: The preparations for the Dashakarma of the late Shibu Soren, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and Dishom Guru, are complete. The Dashakarma will be held on August 15th, following Santhali traditions, with the Sanskar Bhoj scheduled for August 16th. On Thursday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in traditional rituals with his family to honor the departed soul. Discussions about the Shraddha program were held with senior family member Deepmani Soren. The Sanskar Bhoj is expected to host numerous distinguished guests from within the state and across the nation. Administrative preparations for the Sanskar Bhoj are nearly finished, with parking arrangements established in areas such as Lukaiyatand. Three helipads are ready at Lukaiyatand, and a fourth helipad has been constructed in front of the ancestral residence. Security will be managed by a team of 10 IPS officers, 60 DSPs, 65 inspectors, and around 2500 police personnel. The district administration is maintaining high alert for law and order. Teams comprising police, administrative staff, and volunteers will work around the clock to manage traffic, emergency services, and crowd control. Chief Minister Hemant Soren personally inspected the arrangements for the ‘Shraddha Karma’ by driving an e-rickshaw and reviewing all aspects of the event.
