A man has been given a life sentence by a court in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar for the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl. Additionally, a fine of ₹90,500 was imposed. The court, presided over by POCSO Court Special Judge Alka Bharti, found Manveer guilty. The young girl was playing near her home when Manveer took her to his room, raped her, killed her, and ran away. The incident took place in the Mansurpur area. Furthermore, a 24-year-old woman has reported being gang-raped in North Delhi’s Civil Lines area. The alleged attack involved multiple perpetrators, including a woman. The victim was invited to a party before the incident occurred.
