Rajiv Pratap Rudy has won the Constitution Club election, retaining his long-standing dominance against BJP MP Sanjeev Balyan. Rudy celebrated his win, stating he secured over 100 votes, with his panel also emerging victorious. Rudy, a veteran Lok Sabha MP, faced a strong challenge from Balyan. The competition was largely viewed as a clash between two BJP members. The election recorded more than 680 valid votes out of almost 1,300 eligible voters, marking a high turnout. Rudy, known for often winning unopposed, faced a notable challenge from Balyan. The Lok Sabha Speaker serves as the ex-officio President of the Club, with the Secretary playing a vital role in its day-to-day operations. Rudy focused on enhancing club facilities, while Balyan emphasized catering to the needs of MPs and former MPs.
