Akhilesh Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a current Member of Parliament, visited the ancestral residence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Nemra, Ramgarh on Tuesday. He paid his respects to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren by offering floral tributes.
During his visit, Yadav met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren, MLA Kalpana Soren, MLA Basant Soren, and other family members, to offer condolences and support. He also met with Rupi Soren, the mother of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and expressed his sentiments, telling her that the people of Jharkhand stood with her. He noted that her support would be a source of strength for the Chief Minister.
Yadav reflected on Shibu Soren’s life, which was dedicated to the welfare of the marginalized communities. He emphasized that everyone would continue to be inspired by “Guruji’s” life, and that his legacy as an influential leader would be remembered. The eighth day of the traditional Shradh rituals for the late Shibu Soren was also observed on Tuesday, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family participating in the ceremony, following traditional beliefs.
