The upcoming film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is generating considerable excitement. Both actors have several large projects in development. Kapoor has two major films slated for release next year, including ‘Love and War’ and ‘Ramayana Part 1.’ There were reports about a potential promotional launch coinciding with Kapoor’s birthday. In the meantime, preparations for a significant sequence have begun in Madhya Pradesh.
Recent reports reveal that the next filming schedule will be in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, formerly known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, a British cantonment established in 1818.
The production of ‘Love and War’ will involve a 15-day shoot in Mhow, utilizing the historic British Army cantonment as a filming location. This phase will necessitate the presence of both Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The team is currently awaiting permissions.
After completing the work in Madhya Pradesh, the team will proceed to Europe in October, with Italy as the primary shooting location. The aim is for the filmmakers to conclude the shooting before the end of 2025. ‘Love and War’ is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026, sharing the release date with Yash’s ‘Toxic.’ Preliminary reports hinted that either Ranbir or Vicky would be playing a character in the British Army. Scenes showcasing conflict between the two have already been filmed.
