Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary, has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision to name a tower within the new MP residential complex in Delhi after the Kosi River. This decision, according to Choudhary, reflects PM Modi’s dedication and profound love for Bihar. He took to X to communicate his thanks on behalf of the people of Bihar. The new complex includes 184 MP residences, spread across four towers that are named after the Krishna, Godavari, Kosi, and Hugli rivers. During the inauguration ceremony, PM Modi highlighted that these river names represent the essence of life and the representatives residing in the towers will also experience a positive life. Choudhary also noted the NDA government’s commitment under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, to the development of Bihar, specifically highlighting the Kosi River’s transformation from a source of floods into a resource for water supply and prosperity.
