Ahead of the theatrical release of ‘War 2’ on August 14th, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on August 10th. During the event, Jr. NTR, who is making his Bollywood debut with the film, shared his thoughts on the industry. He particularly highlighted the apprehension that South Indian superstars often have about entering Bollywood. Jr. NTR said, “Working with you for 75 days has been a great learning experience. I can’t wait to work with you again. Thank you for accepting me as your brother and welcoming me with open arms.”
He also acknowledged the role of S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ in bridging the gap between South and North Indian cinema but pointed out that the feeling of being accepted in Bollywood still lingers in the minds of South Indian actors. Jr. NTR expressed his gratitude to Hrithik, saying, “Thank you, sir, for accepting me and hugging me, which you did so wonderfully on the first day. I will always cherish the moments we shared on ‘War 2.'”
Hrithik Roshan also addressed the fans and described Jr. NTR as a brother, stating, “We are all brothers and a family. Tarak (Jr. NTR) and I started as co-stars and became brothers in real life.” Hrithik requested the fans to extend the same love and support to Jr. NTR, whom he considers deserving of the affection.
