Rumors are swirling about the political future of Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, with the announcement of his ‘Nishant Samvad’ event adding fuel to the fire. Posters related to the event were seen near the office of the JDU. Nishant Kumar, the only son of the JDU leader, has expressed his desire for his father to remain in office, while avoiding questions about his personal political ambitions.
The posters indicate that Nishant Kumar intends to share his perspectives on “welfare schemes initiated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.” Unexpectedly, young leaders from rival parties, like Tejashwi Yadav and Chirag Paswan, have indicated they would be open to Nishant’s political involvement.
Nonetheless, there’s skepticism among some observers about whether Nitish Kumar, who has distanced himself from “dynasty politics,” would permit his son to enter the political arena, at least not before his own retirement.
