Hyundai is preparing to introduce the next-generation Venue in India on October 24th. This upcoming launch is highly anticipated, with the new SUV poised to challenge the existing market leaders, including the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Tata Nexon. The original Venue was launched in 2019, followed by a facelift in 2022.
The updated Venue is expected to offer a compelling package, competing with vehicles such as the Skoda Kushaq and Kia Sonet.
Design and Exterior Features
Recent spy shots reveal several design changes. While maintaining its boxy silhouette, the new Venue will likely feature redesigned split LED DRLs and headlamps. The front grille design is anticipated to be more prominent.
Rear Design Elements
The rear of the new Venue is expected to feature connected LED tail lamps, a silver-finished bumper, and a black shark fin antenna.
Interior Upgrades and Features
Inside, the Venue is expected to receive significant updates, including a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additional features like climate control, wireless phone charging, and a Level 1 ADAS package are also anticipated.
Engine and Powertrain
The new Venue is likely to retain the existing engine options: a 1.2-liter petrol, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel. Transmission choices are expected to include 5-speed and 6-speed manuals, as well as a 7-speed DCT for certain trims.
