Protests took place in the UK, centered around restrictions imposed on pro-Palestinian groups. Over 365 individuals were arrested on Saturday for knowingly breaking the law, with the aim of pressuring the government to reassess the new legislation. The law, which Parliament enacted in July, specifically targeted the group known as Palestine Action.
The restrictions came in response to the group’s reported actions, including the damaging of two aircraft after entering a UK Air Force base. Protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with the UK’s backing of Israel’s operations against Hamas in Gaza.
