President Donald Trump has successfully brokered an end to the 37-year-old war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. After days of focused efforts, a peace agreement was signed at the White House. The signing ceremony involved Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The agreement is aimed at ending the long-standing conflict and enhancing economic and diplomatic relations. Before the recent breakthrough, Trump had expressed his aspiration to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, a goal yet to be realized. However, Trump was able to resolve the longstanding conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Aliyev stated, “If not President Trump, who should get the Nobel Peace Prize?”
