Chhattisgarh is witnessing a surge in investment and development, with significant contributions towards education and skill development. The state government, in collaboration with IIM Raipur, NIT Raipur, and the Motilal Oswal Foundation, has initiated a comprehensive plan to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The establishment of the ‘Smt. Mithilesh Agarwal Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence Center’ will play a crucial role in this initiative. The Motilal Oswal Foundation is also committed to establishing the country’s largest training center for farmers in Raipur. The Foundation has pledged to allocate 10% of its total funds towards social welfare, with a focus on education, skills, and agriculture. The Foundation has announced a donation of Rs 172 crore to IIM Raipur and NIT Raipur, which will be used to build infrastructure and start international MBA programs.
