The owner of the bar reported the incident to the local police. The shooting occurred at the Gravity lounge and bar on Ratu Road. Luckily, no one was hurt. The police have arrested the accused, Rahul Singh.
The argument involved the bodyguard’s demand for a Bhojpuri song. After the bar did not play it, the situation escalated, leading the bodyguard to open fire with his licensed pistol. The bar manager filed a complaint. The police arrested Rahul Singh, a resident of PhD Colony, Hinu, Ranchi, and seized his licensed pistol and 21 cartridges. The police are taking action against the accused under the Arms Act and other relevant sections.
