Shweta Tiwari, who starred in the hit television series ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ (2001), achieved significant recognition. Prior to her acting success, she was married and had a daughter. Her first marriage ended, and she later entered a second marriage, which also ended in divorce. Now 44, Shweta is a single mother and cherishes her life with her children. She revealed her current thoughts on romance in a recent interview.
In an interview on the Galata India YouTube channel, Shweta spoke about her life’s experiences, highlighting both achievements and setbacks. She discussed her two failed marriages and how she approaches the topic of romance today. When asked if her definition of love had changed, Shweta responded, ‘No, nothing has changed regarding love, but it has changed regarding relationships. You can have love for your parents, children, and friends, but you cannot form relationships with everyone. After what has happened in my life, I have stopped trusting in relationships. I stand by my close friends in their difficult times, but it’s not easy for me to trust anyone easily now.’
She added, ‘If you talk about romance in a relationship, I don’t think about it. I even skip the romance part when I read books. If I watch something, I think, what is going on (laughing)? I make fewer relationships now, and if they happen, I can’t believe it. So, there has been a rift in relationships, but not in love; love is a good thing, and I love my children very much, I am living a good life.’
