Windows 11 users are on the cusp of receiving a new batch of AI features integrated through Copilot. A key element of the update is the Copilot Vision tool, which allows users to scan anything visible on their screen, enabling them to ask questions about the content. This update also enables the use of Copilot to execute tasks like enhancing the lighting in images. Microsoft’s blog post highlights a growing trend in AI usage for both work and personal endeavors. Owners of Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs will gain access to the AI agent via the Settings app. A notable new feature is the ‘Click to Do’ preview, designed to perform actions like summarizing text. The update further introduces an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object select tool for precise image editing, a new AI lighting feature in Photos, and a precise screenshot tool that uses AI. The rollout is set for August, accompanied by non-AI features, including a color picker for the Snipping Tool.
