The Kannada film industry is in grief as it mourns the loss of actor Santhosh Balaraj. The actor, who was 34, passed away after struggling with jaundice. His debut film, ‘Kempa’, was released in 2009. He subsequently appeared in successful films like ‘Olaviina Ole’, ‘Janma’, ‘Ganapa’, ‘Kariya 2’, and ‘Satyam’. His father, Anekal Balaraj, a well-known producer, passed away in a road accident. Santhosh was admitted to Sagar Apollo Hospital in Bangalore for treatment. He was unmarried and lived with his mother. The South Indian film fraternity and fans expressed their condolences.
