During a vehicle inspection drive in Patna, the police encountered a scooter with an astonishing ₹45,000 in pending traffic fines. The driver, upon being stopped for inspection, abandoned the scooter and fled the scene. The Patna Traffic Police were conducting the vehicle checks under the special instructions of Traffic SP Patna. The impounded scooter, bearing the number BR-01-EL7452, is now in police custody. The owner has been informed and will need to clear the outstanding challans before the scooter can be released.
