The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), through its Central General Secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya, expressed profound sorrow over the demise of its founder, Shibu Soren, fondly known as Dishom Guru. The party described the loss as a significant event, comparable to the collapse of the Himalayas.
Bhattacharya stated that although Guruji is no longer with us in person, his ideals and the lessons he taught will forever be a source of strength and inspiration for everyone.
He highlighted Guruji’s life as an example of continuous dedication. He always championed social justice, challenging prevailing norms. His efforts motivated tribal communities, indigenous people, Dalits, the underprivileged, laborers, farmers, and women to stand up for their rights.
Bhattacharya said that Guruji demonstrated the value of education in combating ignorance, the necessity of fighting against exploitation, and the importance of living a dignified life.
