Authorities are urging residents to take precautions and avoid hazardous situations. The Northeast and adjoining East India are preparing for incessant showers over the next seven days. Specific areas, including Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh, are expected to be heavily impacted. Other affected regions include Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh, and northeast Rajasthan. The Met Department advises residents to stay informed and prepared due to heightened monsoon activity expected in the eastern, western, and central parts of India, encouraging them to follow safety precautions.
