Chhattisgarh is set to see a significant infrastructure boost with the approval of several road projects. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss the state’s infrastructure development. The meeting resulted in the approval of road projects valued at over ₹7,000 crore. Officials have been directed to expedite financial clearances for the ongoing projects.
A sum of ₹600 crore has been approved under the Central Road Fund (CRF), which will be used for the construction and upgrade of roads throughout Chhattisgarh. This includes building new roads and improving existing ones. The plan also includes the construction of four major bridges in Raipur to ease traffic. Roads connecting Raipur to other districts will be widened to four lanes, thereby enhancing transportation efficiency and safety.
