Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has appointed Bharat Arun as its bowling coach. Arun, formerly the bowling coach for the Indian national team, will now be a part of LSG, following his time with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The agreement is for two years, with a focus on developing bowlers throughout the year, not just during the IPL season. This includes off-season training as part of a broader player development strategy.
Arun was instrumental in building a strong bowling attack for KKR. His departure from KKR was amicable and aligned with the team’s existing coaching structure and internal professional development initiatives. The hiring might signal a change in LSG’s coaching framework and a strategic focus on player development.
