The Ranchi district administration is actively preparing for President Droupadi Murmu’s two-day visit, with preparations entering their final stages. A crucial meeting, led by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, took place on Saturday at the Collectorate Auditorium to assess the ongoing work.
The meeting focused on finalizing arrangements related to security, traffic management, welcoming procedures, and readiness of the event locations. Deputy Commissioner Bhajantri issued specific instructions to all departments, stressing the importance of a seamless and respectable visit. He examined essential services such as cleanliness, healthcare, water provision, sanitation, parking facilities, fire safety protocols, and route security, directing the relevant departments to complete tasks promptly. The police force has been instructed to maintain heightened alertness.
The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to carry out their duties with vigilance and care, clarifying that the progress of preparations would be closely monitored and regularly evaluated.
The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha, Additional District Magistrate Rajeshwarnath Alok, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar, Traffic Superintendent of Police Kailash Karmali, Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Urvashi Pandey, and other departmental heads.
