Following the JPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 results, DSP Vikas Chandra Srivastava is being lauded for his contributions to civil services education. Srivastava, a dynamic police officer, has made a significant impact with his ‘DSP Ki Pathshala,’ a coaching initiative that has successfully guided approximately 170 individuals to become officers in Jharkhand. The recent exam results highlight the effectiveness of his program, with 140 successful candidates having received mentorship from his ‘Pathshala.’ Hailing from Hazaribag, Srivastava, a 2013 batch officer, has also created a YouTube channel named ‘DSP Ki Pathshala,’ which has over 146,000 subscribers and offers a vast library of study materials. Despite his demanding role, Srivastava dedicates his evenings to teaching online from the Research Training School in Hotwar, Ranchi, where he currently serves, offering guidance on exam preparation. His dedication to education stems from his upbringing in a family of teachers, and he credits his father for being his inspiration. He was recognized previously by the former Education Minister of Jharkhand for his valuable contributions to education.
