Proceedings in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha resumed for a fourth day, with opposition parties pressing for a discussion on the revision exercise. Adjournment motions have been submitted daily since the monsoon session began. Outside Parliament, the opposition has been protesting, alleging the revision exercise is used to manipulate voter lists and delete votes before assembly elections. Rashtriya Janata Dal leaders in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav and MP Manoj Jha, mentioned the possibility of a poll boycott. Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, along with Akhilesh Yadav, Kanimozhi, Manickam Tagore, and KC Venugopal, have been active in the ongoing protests.
