Arang/Naya Raipur: The Arang Assembly constituency is set to witness significant infrastructure development with the approval of a road project worth over ₹21 crore. The initiative, spearheaded by the Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Arun Sao, and Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, will see ₹21,22,20,000 allocated for the widening, strengthening, and construction of bridges and culverts on the Bhanasoj-Barchha-Malidih-Kholi road. The Public Works Department issued the administrative order on July 17, 2025, with the project falling under the 2024-25 budget. The road will stretch approximately 09 km.
