Uttar Pradesh is also on alert, with several districts expecting heavy rainfall. The weather department anticipates light to moderate rain for the next week. Specific districts expected to face heavy downpours on Sunday include Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Bijnor, Moradabad, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur.
Rajasthan is experiencing active monsoon conditions with widespread rainfall in the last 24 hours. The weather center expects an active monsoon in eastern Rajasthan for the coming two weeks with the expectation of more than average rainfall. Western Rajasthan is also expected to have an active monsoon and receive above-average rainfall in the coming week.
