The Swachh Survekshan 2024 results are out, and seven urban bodies from Chhattisgarh will be awarded for their exemplary performance in cleanliness. The awards ceremony will take place on July 17th in New Delhi, with President Droupadi Murmu as the chief guest. The President’s Award will be presented to Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, Kumhari Municipality, and Bilha Nagar Panchayat, recognizing their outstanding achievements in various population categories. Raipur Municipal Corporation will receive the Ministerial Award for its commendable efforts. The Super Swachhta League (SSL) will feature Ambikapur Municipal Corporation, Patan Nagar Panchayat, and Bishrampur Nagar Panchayat, highlighting their consistent performance in cleanliness. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao have extended their congratulations to all the winning urban bodies, acknowledging the hard work of the Urban Administration and Development Department and local bodies in achieving this success. This recognition underscores the collective efforts to make Chhattisgarh a leader in cleanliness nationwide.
