National Security Advisor Ajit Doval provided insights into ‘Operation Sindoor’, revealing that India conducted precise strikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan with complete success. Speaking at IIT Madras, Doval lauded the use of indigenous technology and the Indian Army’s swift action. He said the operation was a response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Doval refuted Pakistan’s claims, questioning the accuracy of their reports, and criticized the foreign media for its biased coverage. He asserted that the precision of the strikes was such that all targets were hit. The operation took place on the morning of May 7, and resulted in the deaths of more than 100 terrorists. Doval referred to satellite images to illustrate India’s capability to cause damage. The military action was followed by counter-attacks before a ceasefire was reached on May 10.
