The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a new plot scheme to promote the establishment of educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities. Applications for the scheme are being accepted until July 31. The scheme includes a total of 15 plots. Ten plots are designated for schools (up to class 12) and are located in Sectors 17, 18, 20, and 22E. These plots range in size from 8,000 to 14,100 square meters. Five larger plots are available for higher education institutions, such as universities and colleges, and are located in Sectors 17A, 13, and 22E. The sizes of these plots vary from 27,000 to 83,000 square meters. The reserve price for the plots begins at Rs 13 crore and goes up to Rs 105 crore for the largest plot. The application process began on July 1. The list of eligible applicants will be published on August 28, and the final allotment will be conducted through an e-auction on September 4. This initiative aims to enhance the educational infrastructure in the YEIDA area, which is located near the Noida International Airport, and establish it as a significant institutional center. Details on the scheme, eligibility requirements, and application procedures are available on the official YEIDA website. YEIDA plans to launch more schemes for various purposes, including residential, industrial, and commercial development. The YEIDA area, which is spread across approximately 2.5 lakh hectares, is situated along the Yamuna Expressway and is involved in urban and industrial development across six districts.
