Chhattisgarh is implementing a comprehensive strategy to manage fertilizer availability for the upcoming Kharif season in 2025. The state has stockpiled 12.27 lakh metric tons of fertilizers. The government is also focusing on promoting alternative fertilizers such as NPK, Super Phosphate, and Nano DAP. The distribution target has been increased to 17.18 lakh metric tons. The state has adequate urea stocks for farmers. Recognizing the potential DAP shortage, the government is making Nano DAP available by storing one lakh bottles in the cooperative sector.
