Gold prices softened on July 5, 2025. The cost of 100 grams of 24-carat gold is now 9,87,300 rupees, having decreased by 6,000 rupees. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen by 600 rupees to 98,730 rupees. Notably, prices had previously risen between July 1st and July 3rd, with 100 grams and 10 grams increasing by 20,700 rupees and 2,070 rupees respectively. Additionally, the price of 100 grams of 22-carat gold decreased by 5,500 rupees today, to 9,05,000 rupees, with 10 grams falling by 550 rupees on Friday. On the MCX, after reaching an intraday low of 96,735 rupees per 10 grams on July 4, bullion closed at 96,988 rupees per 10 grams, a drop of 2 rupees. Silver prices saw a small gain, ending at 1,08,438 rupees per kilogram on July 4, up 9 rupees.
