Pashupati Kumar Paras, the President of the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party and a former Union Minister, has ended his association with the National Democratic Alliance. He will be contesting the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar as part of the Grand Alliance. Paras addressed the press, pointing out the instability in Bihar’s political landscape. He declared his intention to meet with Tejashwi Yadav soon to formalize the alliance. Paras didn’t shy away from critiquing the Nitish Kumar government, citing concerns about corruption and lawlessness. He also took aim at the Election Commission’s current voter list revision process and the central government’s policies.
